Jessy
Meet Jessy! She has been an integral part of the Just for Pets team. In 2006 she made the transition from a successful nursing career to pursue her passion for animal care. As the manager of this premier dog grooming and kennel facility, Jessy thrives by blending her love for customer service with her dedication to providing exceptional care for pets. She deeply enjoys interacting with both customers and their furry companions, ensuring that every visit is a positive and memorable experience. Outside of work, Jessy enjoys cooking, shopping, and spending time with her family. Her warm personality and commitment to excellence make her an invaluable leader at Just for Pets!
Vicki
Vicki founded Just for Pets in the spring of 1997, driven by a lifelong passion for animals. She graduated from Nash Academy, one of the country's top grooming schools, in December 1996, where she was honored with the “Student of the Year” award. After graduation, Vicki rented a small space and turned it into a grooming shop, starting with no clients and no employees. While uncertain about her future, she was determined to offer the best possible experience for both dogs and their owners. The business quickly outgrew that space, and in 2000, Vicki purchased a house a few miles away, adding boarding services. Soon after, the commercial building next door became available, and Vicki seized the opportunity to expand further, creating the spacious location we have today, with both indoor and outdoor areas. After 28 years of doing what she loves, Vicki is proud to pass on the legacy of Just for Pets to the next generation, confident that it will continue to thrive under new leadership.
Tess
Tess has been a dedicated member of our team since 2022, working as a talented dog groomer and assisting at the front desk. She was trained by the staff at Just for Pets and holds a Barkleigh Pet Professional First Aid and CPR certification. Tess specializes in grooming Shih Tzus, Yorkies, Westies, and toy poodles, drawn to their adorable faces and vibrant personalities. Her favorite part of being a groomer is building relationships with the pups, as well as watching them get excited to come in, and seeing their transformations as they leave all cleaned up with a cute new look. Among all the breeds she grooms, Shih Tzus hold a special place in her heart for their versatility in haircuts, unique personalities, little legs, and irresistibly squishy faces. When she is not grooming, Tess enjoys running and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. A fun fact about Tess, she named her Shih Tzu Chandler after Chandler Bing from her favorite TV show, *Friends*!
Christina
Meet Christina, a cherished member of the Just For Pets team since 2010. A graduate of the Nash Academy of Animal Arts, Christina brings exceptional expertise in hand scissoring, particularly for very tidies and pomeranians. Her favorite part of grooming is spending her days with dogs, not only making them look their best but also providing an essential service that contributes to their well-being. Christina has a soft spot for Yorkies and Pomeranians, which she adores grooming. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening growing, both vegetables and flowers, and keeps busy caring for her three kids. A fun fact about Christina? She loves canning food from her garden, ensuring her family enjoys homegrown goodness year-round.
Jenna
Meet Jenna, one of our talented groomers! Jenna has been grooming since 2020 and joined the Just for Pets team in 2023. She graduated from the Grooming Academy at PetSmart and continued to enhance her skills with training from our experienced staff. Jenna’s favorite part of grooming is building meaningful connections with the dogs and transforming them into their most beautiful selves. While she loves all scruffy breeds, black labs hold a special place in her heart. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys playing the piano, diving into video games, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. A fun fact about Jenna: she was part of the first kindergarten class to attend FKE and the last 6th-grade class before it changed.
Marlaina
Marlaina has been a valued member of our team since 2016. She is certified in Barkleigh Pet Professional First Aid and CPR, holds a breed standard certification for poodles, and has received specialized training from our talented staff at Just For Pets. Her specialties include working with poodles and doodles, crafting stylish mohawks, lion cuts, perfecting topknots for Shih Tzus. She also enjoys designing creative and abstract looks tailored to each pet’s personality. Her favorite breed to groom is poodles because of their versatile coats and endearing personalities. What Marlaina loves most about grooming is meeting new pups and forming lasting bonds with the dogs she works with. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, visiting Disney World, exploring the Star Wars universe, hiking, and boating with her family and dogs.
Laura
Laura has been a part of the Just For Pets family since 2016, but her journey in pet grooming began in 2010. A graduate of the prestigious Nash Academy of Animal Arts, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her work. Her favorite part of grooming is the transformation from a dirty pup to a beautifully clean and well-groomed dog. She loves grooming dogs with patterns, but particularly enjoys working with poodles and doodles, as they allow her to showcase her creativity and expertise. Outside of work, Laura is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys kayaking, hiking, backpacking, running, cycling, and walking her dog. A fun fact about Laura? She spent three years in Alaska leading educational kayak tours—a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for nature.
Margaret
Margaret is a dedicated and skilled member of our grooming team who began her journey in pet care as a bather in 2022. She advanced to becoming a groomer in 2023 and joined Just for Pets in 2024. Margaret is a graduate of Rio Grooming School and is certified in canine CPR and First Aid, ensuring your pet's safety is always her top priority. Specializing in working with anxious dogs, Margaret has a natural ability to help pets feel calm and cared for during their grooming sessions. Her favorite part of grooming is spending quality time with the dogs, forming bonds that make every visit special. A Border Collie enthusiast, Margaret's love for the breed is inspired by her own Border Collie, Spec. When she's not grooming, she competes in agility with Spec, showcasing their incredible teamwork and skills. A fun fact about Margaret? She used to compete in pole vaulting!
Heather
Meet Heather, an experienced groomer who has been perfecting her craft since 2006. With certifications in canine CPR and formal training from the Florida Institute of Animal Arts, Heather brings a wealth of knowledge and care to every grooming session. She specializes in Terriers but loves working with all breeds, especially Shih Tzus for their adorable squishy faces and playful puppies. For Heather, the best part of grooming is caring for dogs and transforming them into beautiful versions of themselves. Outside of work, Heather enjoys riding her bike, hiking, and capturing stunning photos of animals. And here’s a fun fact: she’s a true expert when it comes to the iconic TV show Friends!
Mickey
Meet Mickey, one of our talented bathers who joined the team in 2022. She is currently being trained by our expert staff at Just for Pets, Mickey specializes in bath and tidy services, very tidy’s, and hand scissoring. What Mickey loves most about grooming is the satisfaction of seeing a dog transform from start to finish, and of course, the sweet puppy kisses that come with it! Mickey has a special place in her heart for Australian Shepards, her favorite breed, having grown up with them. When not pampering pups, Mickey enjoys spending time with her horses and competing in barrel racing. We’re lucky to have Mickey as part of our team, bringing both skill and passion to every pet she works with!
Vanessa
Meet Vanessa, our talented Bather who has been a part of the Just For Pets team since 2022. Vanessa honed her skills through hands-on training provided by our experienced staff, and she absolutely loves her role. What brings her the most joy about bathing? It’s the chance to meet a variety of dog breeds and shower them with love. Her favorite breed? Doodles, they never fail to charm her with their silly and adorable antics. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys shopping and cherishing moments with her family and friends. And here’s a fun fact: Halloween is her absolute favorite holiday! Vanessa’s passion and care make her an integral part of our team.
Kaleigh
Kaleigh is one of our talented bathers here at Just For Pets, joining the team in 2024. Trained by our skilled staff, Kaleigh brings enthusiasm and care to every pet she works with. What she loves most about bathing is getting to know each dog’s unique personality and watching how they grow and change over time. Her favorite breed? Pit bulls, of course! Outside of work, Kaleigh enjoys spending quality time with her family, diving into a good book, and hanging out with her own furry friends—she’s the proud pet parent of three cats and two dogs.
Jamie
Meet Jamie, one of our dedicated kennel technicians here at Just For Pets! Jamie has been a valued team member since 2022, bringing a passion for animals and a caring touch to every furry guest. Trained by our experienced staff, Jamie ensures that each pet feels comfortable and loved during their stay. What Jamie loves most about the job is making Just For Pets a true home away from home. When it comes to favorite breeds, Jamie can’t pick just one, believing that every dog is wonderful in its own unique way. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending quality time with her mom, and dogs, dogs, and more, dogs! A fun fact about Jamie? She loves to sing to the dogs, adding a little extra joy to their day!
