Boarding

“At Just For Pets, our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your dog while you're away. With dedicated staff and spacious, secure accommodations, our goal is to give both you and your dog peace of mind, knowing that they are receiving the highest standard of care and attention during their stay."

  • We provide water and food bowls, as well as a raised off the ground cot for your pup to lay on!

    Please bring the following

    • Your dogs usual food (please pack food in individual bags)

    • Medication (if needed)*We do not give insulin shots

    • Updated vaccination records

    *Please provide your own pill pockets for administering medication

    • Toys

    • Small beds/blankets

    • Anything to make them feel more at home!

    • No rawhide

    • No bones with holes in the middle

    • All dogs will go outside to potty and play four times a day

    • All dogs are given fresh water daily

    • Of course all of the dogs get lots of attention and love

    • We have 1 acre of fenced in areas for the dogs to run and play

    • Our facility is climate controlled (we have a standby generator in case of a power outage)

  • Please bring updated vaccination records!

    The core vaccines are Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Hepatitis, Rabies and Bordetella.  Consult with your veterinarian for their recommendation for any other vaccines they may want your pet to have. We ask, when possible, they are not at the vets’office 2-3 weeks before boarding. Any and all vaccines need to be given at least 2 weeks before boarding.

 FAQs

  • YES. We need to make sure we have available space. It’s good to reserve your space early. We do fill up, particularly holidays and spring, summer and fall vacation times.

  • YES. All pets have to be spayed/neutered.

  • Monday through Friday you may drop off anytime from 7am-4pm. On the day you drop off it is a full day charge no matter what time you drop off. If you pickup before noon there will be no charge for the day you pickup, after noon till 5pm there will be a ½ day charge.

    Saturday 7:30am-8:00am

    Sunday    7:30am-8:00am and 6:30-7:00pm (this time will be a full day charge)

    Holidays 7:30am-8:00am

  • ABSOLUTELY! No need to make an appointment. Come by anytime 10:00am - 3:00 pm Tuesday through Friday and we will be happy to show you around.

  • NO. We are not set up to board cats.

  • YES.  We try to keep as much as possible with what they are already familiar with. A change in their diet can upset their digestive track. Please bring their food in individually bagged pre-portioned meals. This is important so they get the correct amount of food at each meal.

  • If your pet becomes ill and needs medical attention, we will do everything we can to contact you and/or your emergency contact. If we are unsuccessful, we will try to contact your vet first, but if circumstances warrant, we will do whatever necessary to ensure their wellbeing.

  • You can add a service while you pet is boarding. We offer nail trims, baths, or grooming (if we have openings) for an additional charge.
